MyHomeImpro is an independent publication about improving the place you actually live in. We cover home improvement, interiors, gardens, decorations, furniture, kitchens, real estate and flooring — eight subjects that overlap constantly in real life and are usually written about in isolation.

What we do differently

Every article here carries a named byline and a real bio. If a guide tells you a job takes four days, someone on this team has either done it or supervised it. We publish specific numbers, we say when the cheaper option is the better one, and we tell you what went wrong as well as what worked.

How we make money

Through advertising, affiliate links on some product recommendations, and a small number of clearly labelled sponsored and guest posts. Sponsored placements never change our editorial recommendations, and anything paid for is marked as such.

Corrections

If we have got something wrong, tell us. We correct errors openly rather than quietly editing them out, and every correction is noted at the foot of the article.
